Today we begin at the very source of light. Before creation, before shadow, the Word already was — eternal, uncreated, and the true light that no darkness can overcome. As you start this 365-day walk, let the first step be simply resting in that truth: you are held by what was there before time began.
The prologue of John reframes Genesis: the same Word that spoke light into darkness now dwells among us. Day 1 plants the root of the whole year — Christ as the light that pierces every shadow.
